BIKKUR CHOLIM                                   Lyn Saberg, Chairperson

The Bikkur Cholim Committee is a vital component of Congregation Etz Chaim. When a member of Congregation Etz Chaim is ill, or in need of spiritual support when hospitalized, or distraught over the illness of a partner or family member, we can and will be of assistance.  It only takes a single phone call, and an Etz Chaim Bikkur Cholim volunteer will be available to help out.  Effective June 1, 2005, I will be Chairing this Committee, and hope that members in need, or members willing to volunteer their time, will give me a call or send an e-mail, indicating their concerns. This Committee will be working closely with our new Rabbi, Harold F. Caminker, and we look forward to being there for you when the need arises. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Elaine Conrad for all the great work that she did with the Bikkur Cholim Committee, and I hope that I can be as successful in assisting our Congregational Family. My telephone # is 954-568-0381, and my e-mail address is Shameynj@aol.com, or you can reach me through our Synagogue office at 954-564-9232.  Thank you and I wish you all a Happy and Healthy summer.

B’Shalom, Lyn
